Capital Dental Equipment Welcomes New Talent in the Form of a Sales Representative for Florida
New territory-based representative to broaden reach and strengthen relationships with dental
Cedar Park, TX, March 2022 – Capital Dental Equipment (CDE) is pleased to announce a new team member, Brenda Kitchens, who will serve as an outside Sales Representative for the Florida and Georgia area. Before this, the CDE sales team has been located at the company headquarters in Cedar Park, Texas, where it has serviced the dental practices in the domestic U.S.
Capital Dental Equipment has recently changed directions by adding approximately 20 new vendors and product lines to expand the full-service dental equipment business model. In doing so the company has grown by 250% in the past year and has a projected sales growth of an additional 200% for 2022.
Kitchens started her career in the dental industry as a dental hygienist after graduating from Florida Community College of Jacksonville. From 2006 to 2009, Kitchens was on the Florida Board of Dentistry, as appointed by Governor Jeb Bush, where she advocated for the people by ensuring that all dental professionals were meeting state requirements. Later she transitioned to sales, where she quickly became the director and primarily sold 3D dental software. Kitchens brings over 36 years of experience to the Capital Dental Equipment team as a dental professional specializing in training, operations, and dental equipment/software sales.
“We’re looking for Kitchens to increase our market penetration in the Florida and Georgia markets through face-to-face interaction with doctors and their office staff,” said Ron Sharpe, President of Capital Dental Equipment. “She will be concentrating on our digital equipment, including 3D printing, x-ray/CBCT systems, and intraoral scanners to start.”
Expanding the sales team to include a specialized territory sales professional will enhance Capital Dental Equipment’s ability to reach new dental professionals in Florida and Georgia. The company is looking for national coverage eventually, with territorial sales representatives currently in Florida, California, and south Texas. The sales representative’s role is to build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with dentists and understanding each one’s specific needs. With Kitchen’s extensive background in the dental industry, she offers the unique opportunity of having existing relationships with many dental practices in Florida and Georgia.
